The images available through this site were collected primarily by Angela Kepler over the course of 40 years spent traveling around the Pacific Basin as a field ecologist, ornithologist, and lecturer on scientific expeditions and eco-tourism ships. Other images have been contributed by Cam Kepler and other colleagues. The images include land and seascapes, pictures of plants and animals, and photos of Pacific Islanders and some of their cultural activities and objects. We hope that the images on this website will increase your knowledge of and appreciation for the beauty and fragility of Pacific Island biodiversity and cultures. For this reason, these images have been made available to the public at no cost and copyright free. We ask that the photographers be credited for commercial uses of the photographs.
