Common Fauna: Migratory sea birds are often seen, while rats, lizards, pigs and chickens were all introduced by humans.

Notes: Tuvalu was formerly known as the Ellice Islands and, with Kiribati, was part of the Gilbert and Ellice Islands while they were a British colony.
